Beth Galloway Interests
Beth Galloway is interested in modern hearing aid circuits and the effect it has on the interaction between auditory and speech perception. “I enjoy studying the technology,” she says. “Our field is constantly advancing its technology and algorithm solutions. Having a better understanding of the differences in technology helps me to better understand my patients’ needs, and fit them with the right hearing aids.” She added, “Patients expect their audiologists to know exactly what the technology does and will do for them, not only to improve their hearing but improve their quality of life. My job truly is rewarding. I am constantly reminded of the miracle of hearing given to us by our Creator. I feel blessed to be in a field that reveals this gift.”
Among her rewarding experiences, Beth enjoys frequent trips to Jamaica where she fits hearing aids on children in several area Deaf schools through The Hearing and Speech Foundation. Beth is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She grew-up in Athens, Tennessee and currently lives in Knoxville with her Husband, Daniel.
